Joc Pederson smacked the Cubs' third home run of their clash with the St. Louis Cardinals. Marking the fifth total dinger of the contest, the leadoff jack opened the bottom of the fourth.
Pederson's ninth long ball of the season, the 392-footer cleared the wall in center field and provided the North Siders with a 7-2 lead. Reliever Seth Elledge offered up a 95.7-mph sinker, and Pederson sent it into the seats, with the home run leaving the bat at 102.6 mph and 26 degrees.
