Anthony Rizzo being traded to the Yankees on Thursday night sent shockwaves throughout Cubs nation.

Fans are posting on social media some of Rizzo's most memorable moments as a tribute to one of their favorite players in franchise history.

Cubs teammates were also doing their part in celebrating Rizzo's impressive time with the Cubs.

“What you did for the Cubs and the city of Chicago it will never be FORGOTTEN, you made history @ARizzo44 Good Luck," Willson Contreras posted on Instagram.

Jason Heyward added the following on social media.

"My MF Brother...The Business is the Business, but you brought the fun to the business and the grind...You're one of the best to ever do it, trust your sh**...You deserve yours."

Best of luck to Rizzo on his new journey with the Yankees.
