Matt Eberflus has second-highest odds to be next NFL coach fired

The "hot seat" list for NFL coaches has been growing rapidly this season. Robert Saleh and Dennis Allen have already been fired, and more may be coming.

After a disappointing home performance, the Bears may have lost faith in Matt Eberflus. His team’s lackluster effort on Sunday in the loss against the Patriots has propelled him to the second spot in the odds for the next head coach to be fired.

However, Doug Pederson currently leads the odds, making him the most likely candidate to join the ranks of recently dismissed coaches.

Updated odds for the next NFL head coach to be fired can be found at BetOnline:

Doug Pederson: 4/5 (-125)

Matt Eberflus: 3/2 (+150)

Brian Daboll: 5/1

Mike McCarthy: 6/1

Todd Bowles: 14/1

Jerod Mayo: 16/1

Kevin Stefanski: 16/1

Zac Taylor: 16/1

Shane Steichen: 20/1

Mike McDaniel: 33/1

Dave Canales: 75/1
