Definitely an excellent pick. Ed Howard has all the makings of a star, but I can't but feel disappointed the Cubs did not go for the best qualified pitcher available. Hopefully we can come up with some quality arms in the future rounds.

I liked the pick too. Seems like a great kid and he has elite defensive skills already which will translate well.

Could be a fan favorite in a 3-4 years.
