The Cubs, currently holding a record of 16-12, will face off against the White Sox, who have a record of 12-13.
This promises to be an exciting match-up as both teams are eager to come out on top against the rival right before the start of the regular season.
Key youngsters in the Cubs lineup include Kevin Alcantara, a talented young outfielder, and Miguel Amaya, a highly-regarded catching prospect. Chase Strumpf, BJ Murray Jr., and Luis Vazquez round out the lineup.
Taking the mound for the Cubs will be Drew Smyly, a left-handed veteran who has struggled thus far this spring, with an 0-2 record and a 5.11 ERA.
Opposing Smyly will be Michael Kopech, a right-handed pitcher for the White Sox with a 0-1 record and a 5.40 ERA.
Game time: The Chicago Cubs (16-12) will battle the rival Chicago White Sox (12-13) at 2:05 p.m. CT at Sloan Park in Mesa, AZ.
