Brewers' Twitter account trolls Cubs over 'authentic Wrigley experience'

by - Senior Writer -

CHICAGO — Taking a shot at Chicago Cubs fans, the Milwaukee Brewers' Twitter account trolled Cubs supporters by poking fun at "the authentic Wrigley experience" when the Cubs took on the Brewers at Wrigley Field for Opening Day on Friday.

Referencing the pumped-in crowd noise, the tweet snarkily questioned why the Cubs were not using fake cheers for routine fly balls hit by Cubs players. The testy tweet used a common critique of the Cubs' fan base from opposing teams, but it could be chalked up to jealousy over the Cubs hosting such an optimistic, passionate crowd at the Friendly Confines.
