Former Chicago Cubs utility player Ben Zobrist was at Spring Training with the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday.

Zobrist was not at camp to try out but to spend some quality time with his former teammates and coaches and try to help out if possible as a volunteer coach.

"He’s here just observing, hanging out with the boys,” Ross said via the Chicago Sun-Times. "He's just taking it in here, being around family. It's nice to have a World Series MVP in the room floating around. That never hurts anybody."

Bryant added that Zobrist could still physically play baseball.

"Maybe he's trying out," Bryant joked. "He could still play. He's 100 percent capable. He's been doing it for so long. I don't know his plans. Just seeing him now and how relaxed he is makes me happy."

In 2019, he batted .260 with a homer and 17 RBIs.

During his four years with the Cubs, he hit .269 with 40 homers and 201 RBIs.

For his impressive MLB career, he batted .266 with 167 homers, 768 RBIs, and had an on-base percentage of .357.
