WATCH: Anthony Rizzo swats 422-foot dinger for his second homer of game |
CINCINNATI — Going yard for the second time on Saturday afternoon,
Anthony Rizzo led off the sixth inning with a 422-foot solo blast. Rizzo previously swatted a solo homer in the third frame.
Rizzo increased the Cubs' lead to 3-0 over the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park. Both of his round-trippers came against right-hander Trevor Bauer, who departed the contest not long after giving up the sixth-inning bomb. The long ball to right served as Rizzo's eighth home run of the year.
