DETROIT — Driving a solo shot out to the opposite field, Kyle Schwarber smacked a home run against the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday night. Schwarber's sixth dinger of the year put the Cubs up 3-1 in the top of the sixth.

The solo blast barely cleared the wall in the left field corner at Comerica Park, carrying 368 feet. Tigers reliever Joe Jimenez gave up the round-tripper on a first-pitch four-seamer.
