White Sox announce roster moves |

CHICAGO – Prior to today’s series finale vs. Minnesota, the Chicago White Sox recalled right-handed pitcher José Ruiz from the Schaumburg training facility and optioned infielder Danny Mendick to Schaumburg.
Ruiz, 25, has appeared in two games with the White Sox this season, throwing 2.0 scoreless IP.
Mendick, 26, is hitting .243/.281/.383 (26-107) with four doubles, three home runs, six RBI and 11 runs scored over 33 games this season, his second with the Sox.
