White Sox announce two roster moves

CHICAGO - Prior to tonight’s game at the Chicago Cubs, the Chicago White Sox reinstated right-handed pitcher Reynaldo López from the injured list and optioned outfielder Nicky Delmonico to the Schaumburg training facility. López will start tonight’s game at Wrigley Field.

López, 26, was placed on the injured list on July 27 with right shoulder soreness. He left his only start of the season on July 26 vs. Minnesota in the first inning.

Delmonico, 28, is 3-15 (.200) with three RBI in six games over two stints with the White Sox in 2020.
