CHICAGO — In the contest between the Chicago Cubs and the Cleveland Indians on Wednesday, the Cubs' Ian Happ was doubled off at first base in the third inning due to an infield line drive being caught. The Cubs enacted revenge in the ensuing half-inning, with shortstop Javy Baez and first baseman Anthony Rizzo teaming up to double off a runner.

The inning-ending double play at Wrigley Field saw Baez glove a hard-hit liner off the bat of Jordan Luplow and fire a scorching throw to Rizzo at first base to double off Franmil Reyes. Rizzo was able to glove Baez's rocket of a throw in the nick of time, with Reyes being outed just before sliding back to first base.
