CINCINNATI — For the second time in the series against his old club, outfielder Nicholas Castellanos went yard on Wednesday. The Cincinnati Reds right fielder slugged a lengthy grand slam to put the Reds up 8-0 over the Chicago Cubs.
Rex Brothers replaced starter Kyle Hendricks on the mound and wasted little time in giving up the dinger to Castellanos in the bottom of the fifth. The grand slam carried 420 feet out to left field at Great American Ball Park.
