Jaylon Johnson injury update

Pro Bowl cornerback Jaylon Johnson was recently placed on the Non-Football Injury (NFI) list due to a leg injury he suffered while training.

Bears general manager Ryaan Poles isn't too concerned about the injury.

"It is going to take a few weeks before he can come back," Poles said on Tuesday. "We've got a lot of faith that he's going to put in the time to rehab and be his full self when he comes back. It's going to take a little bit of time, but [I'm] not overly concerned about long-term."

Johnson had a career-high 53 tackles, seven tackles for loss and two interceptions last season.

The Bears signed Tre Flowers as a depth piece while Johnson is getting back to full strength.
