Multiple reports suggest that the Chicago Bears are re-signing long snapper Patrick Scales to a one-year deal that includes over $1 million in guaranteed money.

Scales made $940K in guaranteed money last season.

Scales is the longest-tenured Bears player, having been with the team since 2015 (120 total games).

He has been super durable, as he hasn't missed a game in six seasons.

This will be his ninth straight season with the team.

The 36-year-old with team up with kicker Cairo Santos and punter Trenton Gill for a decent special teams trio in 2024.
