Chicago Cubs to host viewing event for Ryne Sandberg's funeral |

The Chicago Cubs will hold a special public viewing event to honor the life and legacy of Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg on Friday, August 22, at Gallagher Way.
Fans are invited to attend the tribute from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, where they can come together to remember one of the most beloved figures in Cubs history. “We hope this public tribute provides everyone touched by Ryne’s incredible talent—as both a player and a person—an opportunity to honor his legacy and pay their respects,” said Cubs President of Business Operations, Crane Kenney. The event is free and open to the public. No tickets are required for entry. August 22nd Ryne Sandberg funeral and celebration of life will be open to the public at Gallagher Way 9:30AM -noon. Video board will broadcast private funeral. Family would appreciate all donations in lieu of flowers, to ‘Nourishing hope and most blessed trinity food pantry’
