Cubs have officially selected the contract of C Luis Torrens from Triple-A Iowa. He'll be a third-string behind Gomes and Barnhart. Chicago did not want to lose Torrens to another team. Intrigued by his bat.— Jordan Bastian (@MLBastian) March 28, 2023
