PITTSBURGH – The start of Wednesday's tilt between the Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Pirates has been delayed due to rain. A stormy afternoon in Pittsburgh precipitated the weather delay in the second installment of a three-game series.

With a tarp covering the infield at PNC Park, the game, which was scheduled to begin at 5:35 p.m. CDT, was pushed back because of inclement weather. The first pitch is now slated for approximately 6 p.m. CDT.
