Tyler Chatwood scratched from Friday's start |
The Chicago Cubs announced on Friday that starting pitcher
Tyler Chatwood is a late scratch for tonight's ballgame against the Brewers due to mid-back tightness.
The injury doesn't sound too serious but I guess we will have more news later from David Ross tonight or in the morning about it. For the season, Chatwood is 2-1 with a 5.40 ERA. He gave up eight runs on 11 hits in his last start against the Royals. Alec Mills will start in place of Chatwood. Mills has a 2-0 record with a 1.38 ERA in two starts this season. The team said that tomorrow's starter is still to be determined. Chiropractor’s delight: Chicago #Cubs starter Tyler Chatwood becomes the third scheduled starter tonight to be scratched because of back tightness joining #Mets Jacob deGrom and #Athletics Frankie Montas
