A MOREL boost for the Northsiders.
Chicago Cubs third baseman Christopher Morel crushed a go-ahead, two-run homer to left field on a slider to put the Cubs up 3-1 in the ninth inning against the New York Mets on Monday night. It was his fourth homer of the season, and it was a no-doubter that traveled 402 feet with an exit velocity of 108.9 MPH and a launch angle of 35 degrees.
