The Chicago Cubs are looking for a decent offense for the stretch run of the 2021 season.
One guy that has hitting power and the ability to provide a lift is versatile infielder David Bote. In the second inning of Wednesday's game against the Colorado Rockies, Bote smacked a solo homer to put the Cubs up 1-0. It was Bote's eighth homer of the season.
