CHICAGO — Adding to the lore surrounding superstar shortstop Javier Baez, the Chicago Cubs infielder posted a video on Instagram that depicts Baez giving himself a tattoo. "Javy" is fond of ink, as he has a bevy of tattoos all over his body, and he recently touched up a masterpiece on his lower right leg.

Captioning the video, "Mom, look, I'm an artist. Who wants a tattoo by 'El Mago?'" Baez can now add tattoo designer to his ever-growing list of skills. NBC Sports Chicago's Kelly Crull later reported that Baez's tattoo artist regularly allows Baez to apply fresh ink to himself at the tattoo parlor, and the artist even occasionally lets Baez touch up his tattoos, as well.
