Wisdom is good to have in life and baseball.

Chicago Cubs third baseman Patrick Wisdom crushed a solo homer to put the Cubs up 1-0 in the first inning of Thursday's second game of a doubleheader against the Cardinals.

The homer traveled 422 HAPPY feet with an exit velocity of 109 MPH.

It was his 20th homer of the season, and it was hit off former Cubs pitcher Jose Quintana.
