It's the end of an era as Anthony Rizzo is no longer a member of the Chicago Cubs.

The news of the trade of Rizzo, the Yankees, happened after Thursday's loss to the Reds. After the contest, Rizzo was seen with his family walking around Wrigley Field, soaking up a final goodbye to the iconic ballpark that led to so many memories, including the 2016 World Series title.

Unfortunately for Cubs fans, Rizzo didn't play in Thursday's game, so they didn't get to give him a standing ovation. Instead, a few fans stayed behind after the game to cheer him on and wish him luck as he left Wrigley Field for the airport to New York.
