Bulls announce Wendell Carter Jr. has an injured quad

Tough news to report today for Bulls fans.

The Chicago Bulls announced on Tuesday that big man Wendell Carter Jr. has a severe right quadriceps contusion, confirmed by an MRI.

He will have daily therapy and re-evaluated in four weeks.

For the season, he was averaging 12.8 points, 8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game.
