Akiem Hicks injured against Lions

Tony Crumpton Tony Crumpton  ·  Senior Editor ·

Chicago Bears announced that defensive tackle Akiem Hicks has been ruled out for the second half of Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions.

Hicks was dealing with a groin injury and left the contest after the first snap of the game.

He went straight to the locker room instead of the medical tent and has not returned to the sidelines.

This is not great news for the Bears but the defensive has been playing impressively holding a shutout in the first half of action.

We will update you when we get more information on Hicks during post-game availability.
