The Chicago Bears reportedly added four players to their practice squad on Thursday: long snapper Scott Daly, defensive tackle Sam Roberts, receiver Samori Toure, and offensive lineman Chris Glaser.

Daly will be added to the Week 1 roster because of the back injury to veteran long snapper Patrick Scales that required him to go on the injured list.

“We like him a lot,” said special teams coordinator Richard Hightower about Daly on Thursday. “Played against him a ton. Veteran. Snaps a really good ball. Really, in our personal opinion, he's one of the 32 in the league.”

Toure caught 13 passes for 160 yards and a touchdown over 22 regular season games with the Packers.

The two released players were safety Quindell Johnson and defensive tackle Dashuan Mallory.

The Bears are now at their 16-player limit for their practice team.
