Not good news for the Bear defense as they prepare for Tom Brady.

The Chicago Bears announced Tuesday that outside linebacker Robert Quinn was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

According to the NFL's personnel notice, Quinn has tested positive for COVID-19.

If Quinn is vaccinated, he would need to test negative twice at least 24 hours apart before Sunday for a chance to play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Quinn has been outstanding this season with 38 tackles, 5.5 sacks (2nd most on team), and a forced fumble through six games.

Backup Trevis Gipson would likely get more snaps if Quinn is out against the Bucs.

In other roster news, safety Deon Bush was placed on the injured reserve after his quad injury.

Alos, defensive back Teez Tabor was promoted to the active roster to add defensive back depth and running back Chris Thompson was signed to the practice squad after an impressive tryout.
