Not ideal for one of the fastest weapons on the Bears' offense.

The Bears announced that rookie receiver Velus Jones Jr. is 'doubtful' for Sunday's rivalry matchup with the Green Bay Packers.

He sat out practice on Friday and has missed the last two days of work.

The same hamstring has hampered him in training camp and during preseason action.

"We're just trying to work through it and see where he is and trying to be positive with it," coach Matt Eberflus said Friday. "We'll see where it goes in the next 48 hours."

On the positive side, Jones Jr. was the only player on Friday's injury report.
