Former Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler was arrested on Thursday night.

Cutler was arrested in Franklin, Tennessee, for DUI-first offense, failure to exercise due care to avoid a collision, implied consent, and possession of a handgun while under the influence.

Cutler was booked into the Williamson County Jail, posted a $5,000 bond, and was released later that night.

The 41-year-old spent eight seasons with the Bears, compiling a 52-52 record. He is the Bears' all-time leader in passing yards (23,442), passing touchdowns (154), and quarterback wins.

In 12 NFL seasons, Cutler threw for 35,133 yards and 227 touchdowns.
