Roster Update: Bears place two on IR, bolster defense with Kpassagnon

Bears Media Relations  ·

The Chicago Bears on Saturday announced that the club has placed offensive lineman Kiran Amegadjie and defensive back Jaylon Johnson on Reserve/Injured and signed defensive lineman Tanoh Kpassagnon to the active roster.

Additionally, the Chicago Bears have elevated defensive back Dallis Flowers and linebacker Carl Jones Jr. from the practice squad for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys. Per NFL regulation, all standard elevations revert back to the practice squad following the game.

Flowers joined Chicago's practice squad prior to Week 2. In his fourth NFL season, Flowers has appeared in 23 career games, starting five in the secondary, for the Indianapolis Colts (2022-24) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2024), joining the Bears after spending training camp with the San Francisco 49ers (2025). Since entering the league as an undrafted free agent with the Colts in 2022, Flowers has totaled 32 tackles (26 solo), including two tackles for loss, as well as three passes defensed, one forced fumble and fumble recovery. As a rookie, Flowers appeared in 13 games for the Colts, primarily contributing on special teams. Flowers capped his collegiate career at Pittsburg State (Kan.) in 2021, appearing in 11 games, totaling four interceptions, after being named an NAIA First-Team All-American on two occasions at Grand View University.
