The Chicago Bears selected Baylor running back Trestan Ebner with the No. 203 pick in the sixth round of Saturday's NFL draft.

In 2021, he was named the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Year and picked first-team all-Big 12 as a return specialist.

"I like to be versatile," Ebner said to the Chicago media during his introductory press conference. "I think I am good at a lot of different things and adds value to my game."

Ebner rushed for 1,690 yards and nine touchdowns on 343 carries over five seasons. He also showed off his passing catching ability with 127 receptions for 1,515 yards and 11 touchdowns.

His versatility continues with special teams plays as he averaged 25.3 yards on 47 kickoff returns with three touchdowns. On punt returns, he had a 6.8 yard average with one touchdown on 28 attempts.
