CHICAGO -- Prior to tonight’s game vs. Minnesota, the Chicago White Sox reinstated left-handed pitcher Jace Fry from the 10-day injured list and optioned left-hander Bernardo Flores Jr. to the Schaumburg training facility.

Fry, 27, has been on the injured list since September 5 (retroactive to September 3) with back spasms. He is 0-0 with a 3.65 ERA (5 ER/12.1 IP), one hold and 15 strikeouts over 13 relief appearances this season, and currently owns an 8.1 scoreless IP streak with 11 strikeouts over his last nine games.

Flores Jr., 24, is 0-0 with a 9.00 ERA (2 ER/2.0 IP) and two strikeouts in two relief appearances in 2020. He made his major-league debut on 9/3 at Kansas City.
