Tough news to report today.

Legendary Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully has passed away at the age of 94.

"We have lost an icon," Dodgers president Stan Kasten said via a statement. "Vin Scully was one of the greatest voices in all of sports. He was a giant of a man, not only as a broadcaster but as a humanitarian. He loved people. He loved life. He loved baseball and the Dodgers. And he loved his family. His voice will always be heard and etched in all of our minds forever."

He worked in broadcasting with the Dodgers for 67 years, the longest tenure by any broadcaster with a single team in professional sports history.

CubsHQ would like to give out our most heartfelt condolences to Scully's friends, family, and the entire Dodger community. RIP Vin Scully.
