The Chicago Cubs are calling up red-hot prospect Moisés Ballesteros from Triple-A Iowa, while placing left fielder Ian Happ on the injured list, according to Marquee Sports Network's Bruce Levine.

Ballesteros' agent confirmed the call-up shortly after the report.

Ballesteros is slashing .368/.420/.522 with 4 home runs and 18 RBIs. His .942 OPS ranks seventh in the league, and he recently posted a 19-game hitting streak.

The Cubs must clear a spot on the 40-man roster to make room for Ballesteros.
