The Cubs are in first place in the standings and also have an elite mascot.

Play USA recently surveyed 2,000 MLB fans from across the country to ask them to rate every official MLB Mascot on a scale of 1-5.

The winner is in, and it went to the Clark the Cub followed by Paws (Detroit Tigers), Dinger (Colorado Rockies), T.C. (Minnesota Twins), and The Oriole Bird (Baltimore Orioles).

If you were wondering, the crosstown rival “SouthPaw” of the White Sox was ranked 22nd overall.

The worst mascots ranked were the following in order: Slider (Cleveland Indians), Swinging Friar (San Diego Padres), Billy the Marlin (Miami Marlins), Raymond (Tampa Bay Rays), and Blooper (Atlanta Braves).
