The Chicago Bears announced on Friday that they signed veteran kicker Kai Forbath to their practice squad.

He has appeared in 81 games over eight seasons with a 86.8 percent success rate on his field goals (131 of 151).

The Bears want to have two kickers on the squad at all times during this ever-changing landscape with COVID-19. Eddy Pineiro is still getting healthy from his injury.

The Bears also placed linebacker Devante Bond on the practice squad injured reserve.
