Terrible news to report.

PGA tour superstar Tiger Woods was in a serious car accident this morning around 7 a.m.

The vehicle rolled over near the border of Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes and suffered serious damage.

Wood was removed from the car using the jaws of life by Los Angeles County firefighters and paramedics. He was then transported to a local hospital by ambulance.

He is currently in surgery because of his leg injuries.

"Tiger Woods was in a single-car accident this morning in California where he suffered multiple leg injuries," his agent Mark Steinberg said. "He is currently in surgery, and we thank you for your privacy and support."

The police have said that they don't believe his injuries are life-threatening.

Our best wishes to Mr. Woods on a full recovery from this terrifying accident.
