CHICAGO — A 10-point swing by the Chicago Bears (5-3) in the final 3:32 of regulation proved to be not enough for the Monsters of the Midway to earn a Week 8 victory on a cold, windy Sunday in Chi-Town, as the New Orleans Saints (5-2) went on to win 26-23 in overtime. The Saints came out on top of the thriller at Soldier Field via a walkoff 35-yard field goal by kicker Wil Lutz.

Bears quarterback Nick Foles threw two touchdowns, and Bears kicker Cairo Santos made three field goals, including a game-tying 51-yarder in the final minute of the fourth quarter. Wideouts Allen Robinson and Darnell Mooney were on the receiving ends of Foles' touchdown throws, with Robinson laying out for a diving catch in the end zone. On the ground for the Bears, running back David Montgomery broke a slew of tackles and finished with 89 rushing yards.
