ESPN discusses Cubs need for an outfielder

ESPN released its latest article discussing the different needs that the Cubs might address to make it back to the postseason.

Three things that would help the Cubs according to ESPN would be a Yankee reliever, backup bullpen plans, and an outfielder possibly Ryan Braun or Josh Reddick.

"Ryan Braun might be the bigger name out there, but he comes up with a long-term contract," ESPN said. "Reddick, a free agent after 2016, makes more sense as a stopgap, with Kyle Schwarber returning next season. Reddick is a plus defender and gets on base, which means the Cubs wouldn't have to count on Jorge Soler or Chris Coghlan returning from their DL stints and starting to hit."
