Jon Lester donates over 500 meals for frontline workers |
Former Chicago Cubs pitcher
Jon Lester is still doing wonderful things in the Chicago area community.
During this offseason, he bought over $47,000 worth of beer for Cubs fans to show his appreciation for his run in Chicago. Now, fast forward to this week as he has donated over 500 individual meals to workers at Advocate Illinois Masonic Center and Christ Medical center. "Thank you, Jon, for feeding our team members during this holiday season," Advocate Health Care posted on social media. The workers were surprised with BBQ meals and pizza. Once again, Lester shows that he is a class act off the field and good luck to him during free agency!
