Jon Lester on his preparation for 2020

'Big John' is looking for a bounce-back season in 2020.

Cubs veteran pitcher Jon Lester had a subpar 2019 season with a 13-10 record with a 4.46 ERA and high 1.50 WHIP.

Lester is back for another spring training as he feels healthy and ready to contribute.

"When you get older you got to do some different things and I tried to do that this year," he told the media Thursday. "I feel great. I feel like I am in a good place physically and mechanically. We will see how it translates going forward."

Lester having a healthy season for the Cubs is one of the keys to the season.

For his standout MLB career, he has a 190-108 record with a 3.56 ERA and 2355 strikeouts.
