CHICAGO — Former Chicago Cubs prospect Eloy Jimenez clobbered a grand slam against the Cubs on Monday evening. Cubs starter Yu Darvish was taken deep by the Chicago White Sox slugger with the bases juiced in the bottom of the first.

Jimenez cranked a blast out beyond center field at an empty Guaranteed Rate Field, marking the fifth straight batter to reach base to begin the bottom half of the opening inning. The grand slam put the South Siders up 5-0 over the North Siders. Having been traded by the Cubs to the White Sox in the Jose Quintana deal a few years ago, Jimenez assuredly felt great about going yard against his old club.
