WATCH: Theo Epstein kicks 50-yard field goal to raise money for ALS |
Chicago Cubs President of Operations
Theo Epstein can do it all it seems.
Epstein showed off his athletic prowess recently by kicking a 50-yard field goal into a soccer net to raise money and awareness for ALS research. "I'm going to make a donation to Snowy Strong for the battle against ALS," Epstein said in the video. He nominated Eddie Vedder and David Ortiz to be up next with their trick shots to help with ALS awareness. Awesome job by Epstein and its great to see that he is using his platform to try to help others including people battling with ALS. Check out the video below, courtesy of the Chicago Cubs Twitter account: Theo Epstein connects from 50 yards, donates to #SnowyStrong to fight ALS, and nominates @RedSox’s @davidortiz and @PearlJam’s Eddie Vedder in the #TrickShot4Snowy challenge.
