The Chicago Cubs assigned catcher Carlos Corporan to minor league camp on Wednesday. For his major league career, Corporan has batted .218 with 20 homers, 78 RBI, and .280 on-base percentage. He was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 12th round of the 2003 MLB Draft.

Other roster moves for the Cubs today include lefty Brian Duensing to start the season on the disabled list so Tommy La Stella and Matt Szczur both made the team's Opening Day roster. The Cubs roster will include 13 position players, and 12 pitchers (7 in the bullpen, 5 starters).
