Cubs sign two pitchers to minor-league deals

The Chicago Cubs have signed right-handed pitcher Seth Frankoff and Cole Brocker to minor league deals.

Frankoff was 4-4 with a 3.89 ERA and a 1.35 WHIP in 28 games this past season. The 6-foot-5 righty was drafted by the Oakland A's in the 27th round in the 2010 MLB draft.

Brocker has a 2-0 record with a 4.05 ERA with a 1.29 WHIP in two seasons with the Braves minor league system. He was selected by the Detroit Tigers in the 39th round of the 2011 MLB draft.
