Ariana Pensy
Correspondent for ChicagoSportsHQAriana got her start in sports specifically football, well, since birth. She has always
had the game in her blood. If she ever got in trouble growing up, it was referred
to as “penalty on the play.” Pensy was the first student in the history of her high
school to be on the varsity football coaching staff and was Media and Stats
Coordinator for the varsity football program at the state level in her home state.
Her start in the newspaper business came in high school where she was a sports
reporter for her high school and local town newspapers.
Pensy has been a Staff Writer for TigerNet since she entered the Honors College
at Clemson University in 2022. Sports Communication is one of her two majors,
as well as Athletic Leadership being one of her two minors. She is a diehard
Chicago sports fan, who might actually bleed orange and blue were she to ever be
injured, and is a member of several fantasy football teams. She owns an
extension collection of rare football cards and is a connoisseur of garlic bread.
