The Chicago Bears announced on Thursday that linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, DJ Moore, Justin Fields and Eddie Jackson will the team captains for the 2023 season.

"I always tell the guys, the first rule of leadership is to lead yourself, and everybody is a leader," Eberflus said after his captains. "We need leadership in every room, from the first guy to the last guy. We need discipline, and habits have to be right. We need a great job of leading and following."

Pretty solid choices, as all four of these players are highly respected on the team and can flat-out play, as they are pivotal for the team's chances this season.

There will also be a fifth honorary captain each week.
