Report: Bears showing interest in two-time All-Pro safety Kevin Byard

The Chicago Bears are preparing for life after Eddie Jackson, as reports have surfaced that Philadelphia Eagles safety Kevin Byard took a visit to Halas Hall on Friday.

Byard, a two-time All-Pro, boasts an impressive resume with 28 career interceptions and 66 pass deflections. Notably, he led the NFL in interceptions with eight in 2017.

However, in 2023, Byard lost his starting position with the Titans, managing just one interception and two pass deflections.

Despite this, the Bears see potential in Byard's veteran presence complementing their youthful secondary talent.
