Tony Crumpton Tony Crumpton - Senior Editor -

The Chicago Bears announced on Monday afternoon that they have elevated linebacker DeMarquis Gates and defensive back Christian Matthew from the practice squad for tonight's game.

Both players will give extra depth to the Bears' defense as they try to get the win against a hot Vikings squad.

Gates played his college football at Ole Miss, while Matthew attended Valdosta State.

Matthew had a tackle against the Commanders this season.

The Vikings have elevated linebacker Anthony Barr for tonight's game.

The Bears will face off against the Vikings at 8:15 pm on Monday Night Football.
